Tungsten Granules and Boron Metal

Tungsten granule are small, crystalline tungsten particles prized for their density, durability, and heat resistance. These properties make them essential in high frequency carbon and sulfur analyzers in which they function as a flux to burn and vaporize materials for analysis. In these analysers samples are exposed to high temperatures in presence of oxygen gases. The TG causes the sample's melting point to be lower, which guarantees total combustion and the transformation of carbon and sulfur into gaseous substances that are easy to quantify.
